So I bought a few t-shirts from H&M in Spain
mostly just b/c I needed some t-shirts
and when i got home and took them out of my suitcase
my black one had a huge white stain!!!
I don't know where it came from(it's not that kind of stain, if it was i wouldn't post it on here!). And i didn't know what to do. But then i remembered a DIY project some bloggers did a while back with bleaching the fabric. Bored, and kinda pissed, I did it:
1.balled and rubber banded the t-shirt
-
2. put the ball into a bucket and poured bleach on it, and then let it sit there for a few min.
-
3. Rinsed it out in a sink and let dry.
--
And the end result:

I'm waiting for it to dry to try it on. But i like it so far. I might modify it a bit more, but we'll see. I'm planning to wear it on Friday, with another purchase i made that I got a lot of shit about haha. Stay tuned. :]

Edit: a reader mentioned that I should probably say how i did it, so i went back and added some steps on how i did it :]

whyy that looks pretty cool!
nice
oh that looks cool- Maybe you could shred it/stud it if you want to make it even more totally DIY? It's interesting!
what a great idea, it looks really good!
Tell us how you did it. ;)
thats the perfect way to rectify a bad situation - it looks great! xo
Tye die!! How fun :D looks like it came out good, too :)
xox, mavi
Wow this looks great! What a way to turn things around.
Loving the DIY tye-dye, it looks ace. I really like the way it's gone a giner colour instead of that rancid yellowy white you can sometimes get. And yes, it did look like one of 'those' stains. dirty bitch ;)
i just said today that i should do this to a shirt that was accidentally stained! it's a good fix!
